Have you ever failed at something?

When failure does happen, it’s how you handle it that makes a difference.

The famous basketball player Michael Jordan explained that he missed over 9,000 shots in his career, lost over 300 games and failed over and over again in his life…but that’s what helped him to succeed.

If you try, you may fail but you should never fail to try.

The disciple Peter was considered to have failed the test when he denied Jesus, not one time, not two times but three times. Jesus knew that Peter would do this but still said to Peter, “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it” (Matt. 16:18)

Whatever you failed at or are failing at today, pray and ask God to show you how He can use it to advance His kingdom. In our weakness, we are strong because of God.

Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong—not so that people will see that we have stood the test but so that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed.–2 Corinthians 13:7 NIV
