Have you volunteered at Woodvale over the last year? Join us for our Annual Volunteer Appreciation BBQ happening on September 9 at 6PM, hosted by our Pastors and Board. Life Groups provide an opportunity to help people grow, change, and overcome their life challenges through Bible-based course study. These courses are led by facilitators who want to see people grow and change, and most facilitators have navigated through these challenges themselves. Alpha explores big questions like, Who is God? and What is faith? It’s a relaxed, welcoming course for anyone investigating Christianity. It’s ideal for those new to church or exploring faith. It’s not a Bible study or discipleship course, just an open space for honest conversation, and it's FREE! Alpha begins Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30PM and includes dinner, a video, and group discussion.

Our Jr. High students are hosting a fundraiser to help lower the cost of their Jr. High retreat. They invite you to join them for a Family Movie Night, featuring the movie King of Kings! Come enjoy the movie, popcorn, snacks, and drinks, and hear some powerful student testimonies about what God's been doing in Jr. High. Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for students and children, and that includes your popcorn! Register in advance or get your tickets at the door.

There’s a place for you to serve at Woodvale! Serving is one of the best ways to grow, connect, and make an impact. Sunday, September 27, following both services, stop by the serve tables in the lobby to discover opportunities and see where help is needed most.

For those who have completed FOLLOW, we invite you to Practicing the Way, a course on Christian discipleship.
Together, we’ll learn what it means to apprentice under Jesus: being with Him, becoming like Him, and doing what He did.
Each week we’ll explore practices like Sabbath, prayer, fasting, and generosity, and discover how a simple ‘rule of life’ can help us slow down and make space for God. If you’re longing for deeper spiritual formation, this course is for you.
