Boundaries
When to Say Yes, How to Say No, to Take Control of Your Life
Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Do you ask questions like:
Can I set limits and still be a loving person?
What are legitimate boundaries?
What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries?
How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?
Aren't boundaries selfish?
Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries?
This course offers biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, showing how to set healthy boundaries with parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves.
Shield of Faith - Battling Pornography Addiction
FOR MEN (Monday nights)
Begins September 14th
The focus of this Life Group is heart transformation. It offers proven principles and practical tools to become a warrior and walk with sexual integrity. This journey of discovery, lays out spiritual strategies, presents scientific facts and, in military style, teaches men and women how to use the weapons God has given them to prevail against the enemy of their souls. Participants will be inspired to keep fighting and be reminded that anyone can become more than a conqueror through Christ, regardless how many times they've failed.
Breaking Chains
This practical spiritual check-up based on Freedom in Christ will help you connect with Jesus in a deeper way as attitudes and behaviors which need to change and areas where faith could be increased will be highlighted. The 10-week course provides steps using the Bible and prayer to feel free from condemning thoughts, unhealthy patterns, spiritual struggles and feelings of hopelessness, bitterness or fear.
Anger: Overcoming Emotions That Destroy
Life is full of hurts and bumps and bruises. Every emotional hurt we experience produces an automatic reaction of anger in us, even if we are not aware of it. As a result, we tend to repress our anger instead of using it to help us deal with life’s hurts. Anger is often misunderstood and when we express it in a destructive manner, we experience hurt again.
In this course, you’ll learn how anger can work for your benefit and how to use it to overcome hurts and offences through forgiveness.
Here are a few of the topics covered:
Understanding anger’s purpose
How depression, anorexia, sarcasm and yelling can all come from a similar root
How to deal with hurt by turning anger into a friend
Developing a strategy that turns anger into motivation
Distinguishing between anger and bitterness
How to heal hurt and bitterness through forgiveness
Total Forgiveness
When everything in you wants to hold a grudge, point a finger and remember the pain...God wants you to lay it all aside. Learn what forgiveness is and what it is not. Uncover the physical, emotional and spiritual consequences of un-forgiveness, and see why God adamantly encourages you to forgive others. Make the choice to forgive - and step into a new dimension of freedom and inner peace.
The Art of Parenting
This course will help parents make faith the core of their parenting with intentional, biblical teaching and Christ-centered plans. Parents will finish with a renewed confidence, fresh insights on raising children at different ages, and a parenting plan unique to each child’s personality and gifting.
COST: $45/individual or $65/couple (Register one for the course and the other as a “Spouse”)
Change Your Money Story

MARRIAGE MENTORING
MOST MARRIAGES DON’T NEED AN OVERHAUL, JUST REGULAR TUNE-UPS
You are not alone in your experiences. You’ll be paired with another couple who wants to listen and invest in your lives. Over the course of a year, they’ll guide you through 14 conversations crucial for a healthy marriage. This isn’t crisis counselling, it’s an opportunity to share your story and learn from the life experience of another couple.
You will meet with your mentor couple for approximately 90 minutes a month. They will guide you through one of the conversations in your conversation guide and listen to you, encourage you and help you to determine some next steps to grow closer together.
